so what would u say needs to be upgraded in the wrx before an aftermarket BOV is purchased . ? to do it safely i mean

response to original post...

aftermarket BOV not needed in any way, shape, or form except for desired cool looks and desired cool blow off sound.

stock BOV is good up to 20 psi (won't leak, blow off, or break),,, so unless you have a huge turbo with a ton of psi, no performance increase is experienced with aftermarket valve.

i painted my stock with red brake caliper paint and i say it looks just as good as the aftermarket ones. (doesn't sound like 'em though)
