GFB HYBRID JUST GOT MINE AND LOVING IT but make sure you put the recirc valve back on so you will be faster with less lag the sound is great and its easier to install if you push the intercooler all the way out if the hose to get to the clamps.. but i love mine

HKS SSQV with WRX kit, direct bolt on and sounds nice.
www.blowoffvalves.com BOVs are simply a matter of taste in which sound you like best since they all work the same. Check that site out for sounds of different BOVs.

I have a friend who has the WORX (sp.?). It's spendy but seems to be a very nice BOV.

I also have the GFB Hybrid and am very happy with it set at 50/50. However, I did some reading on the WORX BOV, and it looks and sounds like it is a very nice BOV. It blows off directly to the intake (recirc.) until it is no longer needed; ie: enough air has gotten to the intake to satisfy the MAF, after which it blows the rest off to Atmosphere. I like that idea a lot.

Anyway, I'd say GFB or WORX

better off spending your 200 or so bucks on something other than a blow-off if performance is your main concern...

This is true... while the sound of an atmospheric BOV is very nice, and can deter 'rice'... you are giving up some performance by venting that air, which the MAF has already metered and depends on for the correct A/F ratio.

u mean like put it 50/50?? if u do this, doesn't the 50% go back into the turbo and create more lag? Let's get something straight: the BOV takes the air that's supposed to go back into the turbo, which goes against the presseure created by the turbo, thus creating more lag, and throws it to the atmosphere; yes or no?

No.

The recirculated air goes into the intake side of the turbo. That helps keep the compressor wheel spinning, which reduces lag.

and some blow off valves like the greddy type S use a system that while doing all this , keeps the turbo spooled between shifts!
