Accidently put 85 instead of 91 in my Stage 1 03 WRX?

I put 20 dollars of 85 in my gas tank this morning not even realizing it. Will I be okay to run it in my car till it's empty?

Just keep out of boost and higher RPMs. From my experience knock tends to happen more often then. If you have an Accessport you could monitor those levels until you fill back up.

I wouldn't risk it myself, I'd either throw some octane boost in it, or just fill it up with 91.

I've been monitoring it with my Accessport with no signs of knock. If anything it's very little knock on occasion.

If you can get a hold of some 93 or some race fuel like 99 101 I would put in 20 bucks worth, Its usually safe to go over but it can be very dangerous going under. If you have the access port you could load the "fuel economy" map as a live map. they are lower boost just in case you forget and put the pedal down.

I've gone through a quarter tank of the 85 with no problems or knock. I put in some octane booster as well. I've been keeping myself from boosting very much and it's driving with no hiccups on my stage 1 91 octane tune.
