keep in mind that the average person cannot repaint that cheap. Repainting at a bodyshop, including blending will cost quite a bit. The bra took the installer 4-5hours to do it start to finish. 500 installed (includes bra + labor). I realize this is not realistic and affordable for everyone. I am posting for information purposes for those looking at the clearbra as a possible option. I am very happy with it so far. I like how everything (bugs, dirt) wipes right off it with a little water.

well forgive me but $500 in front end damage is a lot more than rocks and scratches

If it were cheaper, then it would sell more. But it can't come any cheaper, because the labor costs is probably almost all the price....

Just out of curiosity, why are you agruing with me.....look back to my last post (this is for information only). More than just rocks and scratches for 500? Haha BS. I worked at a bodyshop when I was younger and even back then a repainted and blended front end was AT LEAST 1300 for a quality job by a reputable repair shop. If you dont want the clearbra....dont get it. I couldn't care less what you do to be honest. Take your car to Maaco every two years for 750 a pop. Other (less argumentative) people might want more info on the clearbra and that is why I posted on here...Not to be hassled and contradicted by you at every turn.

You were not harassed, you were not contradicted. What you WERE was disagreed with.

Modvoice: If you cannot DISCUSS things on an DISCUSSION FORUM than you should leave. People don't always agree. You need to be more respectful.

I don't think the body shop I went to was particularly cheap. I had my rear bumper replaced on my WRX after a collision and the rates were all right out of a standardized book. The repainting was a fixed fee of like $150. The front would have been more but certainly not $1300.

No, I disagree that the clear bra is a good investment. I respect your decision and I'm not criticizing you, I just posted my thoughts on the matter for discussion. I was curious what your rationale was, now much it cost, and to hear other's thoughts. No offense but the thread is not yours, it's for all of us to discuss. You didn't even start the thread, it's not about you. Don't take it so personally.

Everyone has a right to their own opinions, you just don't need to argue about someone else not agreeing. I too think it is a waste of money, but I also agree that it's a good idea for those that want that extra protection. I just, personally wouldn't get it either. Well, keep rocking that bra dude lol......
