2013 wrx headers

hi everyone. i have been reading up on headers, but cant find the answer to this question. Do I need engine management with aftermarket headers?

Why do you want headers? Just curious. The Down Pipe (DP) is the next logical option with a tune/engine management (EM). Which cold air intake btw?

A header is the last thing you should be getting then. When you're at least stage 2 and have another $1,000-1,300 to spend then it would be something to consider. I'm making 400 whp on the stock header, though if I wanted to go for more power on my current set up this would be my next purchase.

hey guys. new to the forum. just bought my 2nd Subaru. it's a 2013 WRX. I, as well, have the cat back exhaust. Subaru installed it for me. thoughts?

you need EM the second you bought the car. more so with that CAI!

as for a header id put it right up there with a DP. both will increase power and they give huge TQ numbers. the stock design is awful!! only thing is a DP costs a quater the price and if i bought another header itd be a killer B made of 321SS but they're $1300 so even more of a price gap between that and a DP.

Is this to something I said before? I think I remember saying that about CAI just being a piece of pipe.
