Go to a site that sells them. Look up one for a 4 door and one for a five door. Compare part numbers. If they are the same part number it should work on either one.

It's okay. I'm an idiot most of the time. Well, you asked your buds on here and it worked so, either way you still found your answer. Hope it works out for ya!

I know your looking at a used Yakima but the Subaru OEM rack is based on the Yakima whisper-bar design. they look great and they fit perfectly for about $150. That's just the crossbars so you would need to put a rack on them but when they are empty they look great and they are almost silent on the road. I think it makes the car look more aggressive, almost like having spiky hair. " the power is over 9000"

I like the look of bike racks in general but the OEM options look really good. just my .02 cents

I agree oem are nice I have the oem cross bars with a medium inno fairing. Looks great as well as a great design. They are oval which causes less noise. Before I bought my fairing I had just the cross bars and I didn't even know they were there. They bolt right into the factory supplied tracks on the roof.

Just giving other options for $200 you could get a Subaru one that fits right on, New. Then spend a few bucks on the inno fairing and you may be a little over that $200 mark but it's brand new and fits real nice. Was just a thought.

I was under the impression that he found someone with a 2007 wrx who had " UNIVERSAL" YAKIMA bars installed, wherein he would just need to replace the towers and they should fit as well as universal parts should.

OP which bars exactly are you looking at? Yakima crossbars, OEM crossbars or yakima bike carrier like a front loader?
