Cops tend to target certain cars due to trends, right now it's your Hondas, Subaru's or most any 4 cylinder car. If the exhaust is stock then really there is nothing they can do legally.

That may be kinda hard to prove, at least where I live the cops can actually do a decibel test on your car. The exhaust could be a stock spt, but if you aren't running cats it'll be louder than a bone stock sti.

So I gather Harley's are exempt from this? They can do that hear, but usually if you fight it it gets tossed since most motorcycles are loud as hell.

^And you sir have found my #1 pet peeve with bikes. I dont have anything against bikers in any way, however if you can drive past my car on the highway and rattle my teeth with your straight pipes I should be able to do the same.

-end rant-

I know in Florida they use to have a noise ordinance that stated if you couldn't have a normal conversation 30ft away then your car was to loud, but that use to be mostly for car stereos....
