I actually really wanted to but didnt think they would look good because of the texture of them. Do you think they would still look good? I have full size paint booth at my house. Have you seen someone with them painted?

Lots of people paint them. You just have to do a really good prep job on them.

Ok cool. Thats what I'm going to do tomorrow. Ill post some pics of how it goes.

I was also wondering if anyone would know why my car makes a bad grinding sound when decelerating. Its not insanely loud, i can only hear it when music is off and it only does it when I'm not giving it any gas. If i give it just a tiny bit of gas even if im still losing speed it doesn't make a sound.

I had an issue like that where my exhaust was hitting the bumper when I would decelerate like that.

I had a noisy throw out bearing that I only heard on decel, esp 3rd and 4th. Not especially loud. I replaced it when my new engine went in, noise gone. It looked OK and probably wasn't going to fail, just an annoying grind to listen to.

I was also wondering if $600 for full 04 STI interior is a good deal. Guy says only 30,000 on the totalled sti and that the interior is perfect.

I always thought that the 03 wrx seats were more comfortable than my sti seats. Go with the STi seats if you dont mind sitting on some stiff ass seats.

Well I hate to say it but if you want to drag. then you need to get better gears for your tranny. like some ppg. with the mods and stuff you have on there. the one thats going to kill your tranny is drag racing with a stage 1 clutch. but its your car so you can do what you want with it.

Im going to throw this in this post also since gears and drag racing where mentioned. Contact either Matt at 555 motorsports or DS1 motorsports. They build and tune cars, Matt is a great guy, that will answer any questions you have. But ask him about the gearset from DS1, its much cheaper than PPGs and pretty damn strong from what he told me. Its what they shop(s) use in their drag and time attack cars.
