CARiD Articles: you have questions, we have answers

What is staggered wheel fitment? Are all those codes on the tire sidewall important? Do I even need that cold air intake for my vehicle? It’s OK to have all those questions in mind while looking to do a serious mod or part replacement on your vehicle.

What would the correct ignition timing be on a 1955 Bel Air Chevrolet, with a 327 cubic-inch engine and a four-barrel carburetor?

Chevy didn't make a 327 in '55. The 327 didn't come out till '62, and it wasn't offered in a Bel-Air with a four-barrel carb 'til '64. However, in 1964 the correct ignition timing would be four degrees before top dead center.

;)
