I am from Pittsburgh too. I went with a set of Firestone Winterforces. This is my first year on a set of winters, but these look like they will be great and they were about $90 a piece off Tire Rack.

My name is Ken and I am a HP Junkie.

Are you looking for studless or a performance winter tire? Blizzaks seem to be the popular choice for Subaru's. If you want more of a performance winter tire (less road noise) then look into the Dunlop Wintersport 3D's or the Dunlop M3's.

Since you seem to be switching set ups between winter/all other seasons, may be a good idea to actually invest money in your winter tire setup. You are only using them a couple months out of the season, so it's not like you are going to need to replace them every year due to tread wear.

I run Blizzaks, but they're pretty pricey. My buddy liked his Winterforces a lot who just replaced them with ipike by hankook.

Thanks, ya i think im going blizzaks may as well. So depressing putting snow tires on. Well rather than ripping corners time to get loose in the snow
