Thinking of getting new rims

So as the title says I'm thinking of getting new rims. After driving thought the snow i realized my bald all season tires just didn't cut it, so im looking into getting a new set of rims to put my tires on and use stock rims for winter tires. I need you guys help to try n get me on the right track for weight durability and stuff like that because I am new to the whole rim thing.

Things I'm looking for:
1. I want the tire sensors so I can tell when one is getting low.
2. I want to stay at stock size if not 1+ so 18.
3. don't want black or chrome rims (everyone and their mother have black rims on their blue subie.)

Thanks for the help

You should be able to get a set of sensors from pretty much any wheel company you deal with. I know Rota makes a lot of options for Rex's, but they're about as played out as it gets (no offense to anyone) but they're decently priced. Other companies with nice options IMO: Tenzo-R, XXR, Motegi, ADR, Stern, and Konig to name a few. I'm a huge fan of black on white (my plans for wheels) so I can't name off any specific models for you in particular. Offset/width is a very debated subject...more so than wheel brands lol! It's all personal taste with that though IMO. Good luck with your search man.

Thats good to know i can get those sensors from any comp. I just dont like having that little light on i know some people just switch rims and dont take care of that but it would drive me crazy. Offsets and widths im not one of those people who thinks hella flush with huge rims is cool i actually hate that so stock sizes is fine.

Thanks thought
I wonder how gold rims would look on a 08 rex..hmm My search continues ahah

Yup. All Rex's are 5x100 and all STI's since 05' I think are 5x114.3 which is what I wish I had for a bolt pattern. Much better bolt pattern for wheel availability IMO

Any sensors other then the stock ones that came w your subaru have to be re-registered. I have a winter set up on my sti but never went to the dealer to re-reg them. Kinda sucks having to go twice a year to re-reg your tpms. Ill just continue to roll around w the tire light on! Unless there's a way you can clear it easily yourself.

Only one set of tpms can be registered at a time
