Hey everyone, been on the forum for a while now but haven't posted anything due to my car being brought back from the dead. I recently owned an 04 Wrx Wagon and I absolutely loved her. Got into a bad head on collision in the canyon around here and totaled the car, so we went out searching and found an 03 Wrx Sedan and purchased it for $2600. The last owner put the car into a curb and hammered the whole front end. After 2 months of Body work, Suspension work and brand new paint I just got her back today.
Due to the damage done we swapped out the rear springs for Sti' springs and used my wagon springs and struts in the front. The car sits noticeably higher in the front due to the OEM wagon vs the Sti's in the rear. Im just looking to fix the 'Saggy Butt Syndrome" so I can present the car at an upcoming show and not have it look so off.
I'm looking at lowering springs (Mainly due to cost) to correct this problem until I can spend a good amount of $$ on a complete set of coilovers.
So I'm asking-
What would be my best choice of correction? (Considering the price)
If lowering springs what brand would you suggest?
Has anyone ever put a wagon fronts into a sedan?
Any other helpful suggestions or routes I should take to get her looking good?
Thank you all who reply and I'm absolutely ecstatic to be back in the Subie Community!
