Rotors

So since I got these HP+ breaks, they are still way to strong for my stock rotors.
Got the rotors turned to see if maybe they were glazed and well that isn't the issue.
So want some suggestions on good rotors

Centric HD rotors.... Or even the blanks

I was thinking something along these lines.

but herd I will be up sh*t creek cause I can't rotate them.
Would those ones that be able to hold up against the HP+ pads?

I'm not a fan of drilled or slotted rotors.

The one's I linked you are what I have on my Speed and what I had on my WRX. Never an issue with a couple track days and auto x on the wrx and a ton of track with the speed.

well what I was told that with the pads I have and if I get better rotors, the noise will get even worse.
so kind of what I am looking at is, that I need to just go back to regular pads?

psinuse 11-04-2013 02:33 PM

Ummmm why didn't you go with stock BRAKE pads? Your really not pushing the car to the point where performance BRAKE pads are needed..

Nathan21 11-04-2013 02:46 PM

do a lot of up and down hill driving, go threw pads in about a month or 2 maybe 4 if traffic isn/t bad but more in the summer and winter because everyone up here for the snow or sights

psinuse 11-04-2013 02:53 PM

That isn't going to change much even with better rotors you do realize that?

Nathan21 11-04-2013 03:17 PM

!Notfunny!Honestly I am more now

psinuse 11-04-2013 03:27 PM

I'm just being rational man, it's in my nature.

Nathan21 11-04-2013 03:35 PM

Yeah I know man, "Bitter truth" right haha
so are there any options I can go with to knock down on sound so where I don't have to get ride of these price breaks that I just got?

pzr2874 11-04-2013 03:56 PM

Most any perf pad are going to make SOME noise. I have no noise on my Centrics and EBC reds though.

I hate Hawk's....

psinuse 11-04-2013 03:58 PM

I have no noise on my Autozone pads on Stoptech rotors

pzr2874 11-04-2013 04:09 PM

you sayin install error? lol

JK

Might just be those OEM rotors.

Nathan21 11-04-2013 04:58 PM

I am going to get some brake quiet from autozone and see if that works.
