OZ superleggaras

So i have a set of OZ superleggaras i had on my 02' wrx. I was gonna just put them on cl and sell them until i actually did research and found out they will fit my 11' wrx at least bolt pattern wise. These are in need of some love so i'll end up powder coating or painting them and using them for winter wheels. My car is wr blue so i feel the only options are gold or black as my stock wheels are grey and i want to do something a little different. Any thoughts?

Go with black or something dark since gold shows a lot of dirt and you probably won't be cleaning them very much when it's cold and snowy. Avoid white at all costs.

You might also want to pop off the wheel weights before refinishing them and then get them rebalanced when you mount new tires.

I vote Gold! They will look awesome with your blue '11 WRX.

I just purchased a set of Ultraleggara's for my '12 WRX, but I got the Crystal Silver one's. I really did not like the gray wheels that came with the car. (I got 17x8, 5x100 with +48 off-set and they fit good).

"mosc" is the wheel and tire man if you got any questions, he has a great informative post at the beginning of this section and recommendations if you PM him.

"mosc" also has an imaginary tumor in his brain that grows a little larger every time somebody paints their wheels any color other than "aluminum"

Based on the options listed in your post, gold. I hate black wheels.

Black on blue doesn't look good IMO, but for winter wheels I think it's a good way to go if you're not interested in cleaning your car a lot in the winter like mentioned. I personally would go with gold, accept the additional cleaning, and have a wheel that'll pop rather than one you can't even see lol!
