which lower springs ?

just got my 09wrx wagon and I want to lower it to rid of that "hideous" looking wheel gap and reduce the lean on tight turns as well. Just have questions about which lower springs I should get if I want a moderate drop....about an inch and not too hard of a ride. I'm thinking of getting the Eibach any thoughts? oh, one more thing is would I need to get a camber kit for this drop or no? thx.

None on the market that I can recommend right now. Reason being is you are driving an '09 WRX. All the springs out right now that I know of are designed for the '08-'09 WRX, so this means they have to be soft enough to run on the '08 WRX struts. Thus, any spring designed for the '08 WRX is going to have a lower spring rate than your stock springs on your '09 and decrease your handling.

Additionally, 08-09 STi springs will not work b/c the STi uses shorter springs in the front than the WRX. The only thing I can recommend is wait for the RCE Springs that are in development. There is a thread over on NASIOC about it where Myles the owner RCE has stated that he is in development of some '09 WRX specific springs. Basically, wait for the RCE springs as those will best bet (RCE makes some of the best springs on the market by the way).

Here is the thread about the RCE springs:

Lets get some 09 WRX specific springs made (gauging interest thread) - NASIOC

It is a pretty long theard, but somewhere around page 3 or 4 Myles chimes in and says they are a go for production.

Edit: also this thread really belongs in the Handling Tech section of the forum, as it would get more exposure there. Mods please move.

Wait for the RCE's... I just put a set of their Black springs on my STi and I love them.
