help with 2005 wrx offset??

Hello guys..and ladies.. what is the offset of a wrx 2005 I think its 53, will any other offset work? Im looking to get 17 inch rims with a 225 45 17 tire.. please help.. and whats the deal with the hub size??

I used to have 225/45/17 Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus tires on my stock 2007 WRX wheels (17x7 +53mm offset with 56.1 hubs) and I had no issues. Second generation (2002-2007) WRX sedans are similar as far as wheel/tire fitment specs, besides the stock 4 pot/2pot brakes of the 06/07 WRX. Generally, it's best to go with an offset that's really close to stock.
