coil spring bushing

I finally found where the horrible scraping noise was coming from on the rear of my car. i hear it often at low speeds. I at first figured it was the wheel bearings, but those are fine. I also cant find the part or the actual name for it. It is the rubber bushing that goes between the coil spring and strut tower mount. It is broken and cauing the noise.

Whats it called and where can i find it?

It's a rubber bushing.... Call the dealer and ask.... Prevents the spring from "squeaking" against the strut seat.

Sorry i'm not much help... You sure yours it toast?

thanks, thats what im looking for. the one on the back passenger side is split. Anyways, it does it over small bumps and when backing up. Like if i push down on the rear bumper it will push down, stay there for a split second and make the creeking/popping sound as it rebounds. Are my struts probably toast as well? The axles and wheel bearing looked good.

the car has 113K miles. It has 2" lowering prodrive springs on it. would i need to replace the upper strut mounts as well or should i just do new struts and a brace
