Anyone with 16" wheels and wide tires?

I just wanted to see if anyone had wider tires on some 16s... Pictures would be awesome as well as wheel specs (width/offset) and if it's lowered how much? I'm looking to try and stuff some 235 or 245/50/16s on my car with my 7.5" wide wheels with 48 offset... Just wanna see what it might look like... I'm lowered 1.5" front and back and I'm pretty sure I'll have to roll the rear fenders.

Thanks
Nate

I ran a set of Goodyear Eagle F1 EMTs that were 245/45/16 on stock 03 WRX rims. No rubbing, but that was stock ride height.

Only way you would rub with those configurations is if you have a wagon.

Any pictures if that? I was under the impression 225 was as wide as you could go on the stock rim width? How did it handle?

It is unless you're in a motorsport setting where oversized tires can benefit you. Running wider than 225s on stock 6.5" will void the manufacturer warranty (motorsport tires don't generally have one) and you will have sloppy side walls.

My warranty is done by far lol... Hmmm... I wish I could find some pictures of 245s on stock wheels... My stock wheels look really nice

I'm talking about the tire warranty. 245/45/16 requires a 7.5" wheel to be within specs. 245/50/16 requires a 7" one.

Neither of these should be run as your normal setup. If you find a set of '98-01 RS wheels, have at the latter size.
