Exclamation 2011 new Rim question/help

So I'm searching for new rims for my 2011 WRX premium stock suspension. I'm looking to upgrade to 18x8.5. I been searching but haven't found the real answer. what offset do I need to go with without having to do a fender roll?

I have heard 40-43mm but most ones I'm finding that I like are +48mm or i have to go up to 9" and hit a 38mm offset.

So my question if I get a 18x8.5 +48mm offset will I get any rub or need fender roll what Size tire would be best to get a better gap fill?

thanks

You realize that the lower the offset the further out the wheel is pushed towards the fender right?

and you realize your fenders are already pulled out (more than 08-10). i run a 18x8.5 +44, lowered and have plenty of room running a 245/35/18.

stock offset on the 11 wrx is +55. Has clearance to run at least 255 tires at that offset. If you want less offset, you might run into clearance problems with your fenders but certainly 18x8.5" at anywhere from +55 to +45, you could run whatever tire you want. I'd advise as much offset as you can get your hands on. 08-11 STi wheels are 18x8.5" +55 for example.

You can choose to fill that gap with tire or you can simply put the rim further out dropping the offset and fill it with stupidity.
