06 tr cv joints

my suby just started making loud clunks when turning and hitting bumps. went to parking lot & did some tight turns . AS soon as I put pressure on the outer wheel by going a little faster I get a constant clunking at the outer wheel. The only suspension mods are Perrin swaybars. Im want to know if anyone has had this happen . my car has 60000 miles would cv's be bad allready? seems like it! Any feedback would be helpfull.

Ive checked, that stuff its all tight. ball joint, tierods, wheel bearing,a-arm bushings, strut plate, springs are seated and not broke. Im still running those tie-rod style stock end links they feel tight but Ive been wanting to replace those anyhow.pretty sure its cvs 60000 miles just seems fast has anyone else replaced them that fast?

It's the same as struts... every1 drives different and go out at different times. Buddy replaced his CV's at 72K... So it's prob right.

Aw crap, I have 76k... is there an obvious way to tell that a CV joint is bad besides looking for tears in the rubber boot? Maybe that's the cause of my front end noise too... happens mostly when I back up into parking spaces though. Could also be a sway bar/endlink issue.

no tears or leaks in my boots either. I do tend to nail the thottle as Im rolling thru a curve.also when i pass some lesser vehicle my foots in it. With 357 WH this certainly would be able to trash a CV early.

turns out the clunk was a wheel weight hitting the sway bar.. i put on a new sway up front and rotated tires at same time.a few months ago. only one wheel has a clip weight on the inner lip of the rim. all the rest have tape weights. some tire guy! I wont use that place again.
