How many times do I have to mention the LGT turbo layout lately? FAWK!! LOL <---hidden message
I was looking at pics of the 2nd Gen BPV's earlier and noticed this as well.

[update]

After resetting the ECU and taking it for a joy ride to get things programmed again, I can honestly say I've gotten no code back on and NO flutter! I'm praying to god this lasts cause my eye balls are burning and I can't stand to read another thread about flutter or air pumps lol! This has been exhausting to say the least...

I did however just see on RSD that they sell adapters from the circle to diamond gasket design. Are these adapters just as much of a PITA as aftermarket BPV's?

That I do not know about the adapters...and the 2nd gen stock bpvs are good to about 22psi or they'll need the "crush mod" to withstand more. Lol

Hey Keith just a question.

If a P0451 code is emissions related, what make you suspect my air pump is causing the CEL?

I've read a bunch of P0451 threads today and it seems to be an absolute nightmare for newer WRX's to say the least! People taking their cars to dealerships dozens of times with no real fixes for the code from even the manufacturer. Most if the posters I seen too had next no mods or nothing at all. All with under like 10k on their cars too. What's your opinion on this code?

Kirt, didn't we have a thread a few years back about a leaky forge BPV? This is a little familiar...

Not that I think it's your BPV in the first place but this whole discussion about shims and springs strikes me as oddly familiar.

I just double checked Google with "Forge BPV springs on WRXTuners" and this is the only thread that even comes close to any shim or spring talk that I could find. It gets derailed in 2.5 seconds though into IC talk.

Stupid Question for ya

Mosc, what's your opinion on the code and flutter? Resetting the ECU did seem to fix the flutter along with removing 2 shims...not to say my problem will stay away.

Should I start a new thread about my code before we highjack my own thread? Lol...

Nope. That was the only code. It's was in there twice and also showed as permanent.

Too funny I screenshot a post in a thread earlier today which mentioned that. One of the hoses were loose and the dealership found it. Thank you though! I'll PM you with my findings.
