Yes, the compatible turbos to an LGT will fit the 08-09 WRX. VF43 is a decent choice.

Hold out for a VF52, much more worth it. The Legacy guys switch to those as well.

The VF52 is cheaper ($850) and has opensource tunes available. Why go with AVO?

The AVO lineup is pricey, but has ball bearings instead of journal bearings and will outflow the VF-52 should you want more than a 330hp cap on your car. If all you want is 330 or so VF-52 is the way to go. If you want a cap at 350-400 go with a AVO 380 or a 68HTA, the 68HTA is still journal bearing, but is cheap and will require a FMIC. The AVO 380 bolts up to existing hardware pretty easy, plus if you buy it from RalliTek, Sean will include the AccessPort Maps for you for free when you give him a list of mods.

The VF52 is a direct swap.

Its as easy as this:avo 380 turbo - Google Search

But heres an answer for you:AVO 380 Ball Bearing Turbo Legacy / WRX
