pretty sure i said this

in fact i know i said it because i was standing right there when i said it.

you know what ill be the bigger man. me and one other member on this forum DID NOT hit 340whp on two different dynos. me and a few others on 3gwrx.com DID NOT hit 340whp. the member here and others on 3gwrx.com DID NOT hit 12.0 in the 1/4 mile on the VF52. and last "MY CAR" does NOT weigh 3050lbs by removing the battery with a 15lbs one, bumper beams, ultra light wheels, engine stuff etc etc. in fact it Gained 1,147.58 lbs and is the slowest 09 ever to grace the streets of our country. you are so right about everything i bow down to your superior first hand knowledge of knowing everything over what i have seen and done. thank you for putting me in my place.

No, your car is not 3,050 lbs. The items you mentioned are not enough to get what you're claiming. Go put your car on a truck scale. And yes, you said 3,050 lbs, which means 300-400 lbs (I have no idea how much you weight). And no, you and the other guy are not making that on moderate to low reading dynos. On the old Dynoflash dream granter, maybe.

Accept defeat? You are nuts kid.... I might as well be talking to someone whos' bragging about how awesome his Civic w/ an intake and chrome door liner is. Go back to telling your stories to people who don't know any better. I'll leave you to that.

I bet that with my heads and cams...I'll creep up into the 375whp+ range on pump. I might even throw in a FMIC to see what the 2.5 XTR will do max'd out on pump.
If you were a real man you would go E85 already and making 400 with no worries ... 1.5xt-r is making that on airboy + E85 +stock longblock.

Anyways, the 08+ weighs 3150-3175 stock. It's not that hard to get the car down to 3000lbs dry. I only weigh about 3200 with me & 1/2 tank or so of fuel in it when I go to the strip (pretty much gut the car behind the drivers seat, plus aftermarket parts do remove weight with exhaust, wheels, intake, etc). Helps that I only weigh 135.

i didnt list all the items. 1/4 tank of gas on a truck scale i have been going to for YEARS was 3050lbs. tell me im wrong again! i took it when it was bone stock. i took it when i got light wheels, i took it anytime i took anything off and i took it when everything was off. i even have a scale, heres a pic!!!

now please tell me one more time im wrong. tell the most anal OCD person on this forum who races 600cc supersport, triathlons and USA cycling that has a $6500 Trek bicycle who has upgraded everthing from wheels, cranksets, cassesttes etc and did it by measuring everything to the GRAM that im wrong on my weight! tell me, my scale and my truck scale im wrong. you will not find a bigger "weight weenie" than me and your telling me you know better

LOL... HEY FELLAS, I THINK THE DISCUSSION WENT SIDEWAYS FROM THE MAIN TOPIC AGAIN... WHICH WAS, OUT OF THE VF52, 18G, AND 20G WHICH WOULD BE THE BETTER?

THEN THE AMR CXR500 ENTERED THE PICTURE...

HERES THE TURBO-PRICE-MAX WHP/HP AND EACH TURBO IS STOCK LOCATION BOLT ON FOR TMIC

CXR500 $1400 430WHP
VF52 $1010 320WHP
Tomioka TD05-18G $900 350WHP
Tomioka TD05-20G $1140 400HP

MY CURRENT MOD LIST IS 3" TBE AP STAGE 2 MAP.

WITH THAT SAID I KNOW I WILL NEED AN UPGRADED TMIC IF I GET ANY OF THESE TURBOS, INJECTORS AND 255 PUMP, PROBABLY INTERNALS DEPENDING ON HOW MUCH BOOST. MY ELEVATION IS 3600 AND HIGHEST OCTANE IS 91.

CAR IS USED AS A DD AND OCCASIONAL TRACK. WHAT TURBO DO I USE

JUST RAN FRIDAY HIT 14.28 IN THE 1/4 TRYING TO SHAVE AT LEAST ONE MORE SECOND OFF AND I'LL BE GOOD.

I agree with Keith also, but like him, Im biased. If you are still using the car as a DD, the 20G is a great turbo for that. You can "de-tune" it until you can push the turbo to its limits and then crank up the boost when you have all your other ducks in a row.

I already told you those numbers are bogus.

CXR - 340-360 whp
VF52 - 290-300 whp
18G - 300-330 whp
20G - 330-350 whp

[edit] Ah, 91 octane. Take ~20-30 whp off those numbers.
