Turbo Back Exhaust

So everyone knows im new to the WRX/turbo car deal, i am pretty well educated everywhere else with cars and i just bought a turbo back exhaust... Downpipe to the muffler... do i have to get a tune if i put it on? are there alternatives to having to get a tune? ....at first i was just going to put from the cat back on but flange sizes are different measurements of course and can't just bolt it up unless im missing something...was just wondering some input on this situation and sorry to all if this is a repeated or super noob question i just want to be sure before i go and do this then drive it alot and such

thanks to all who reply!

Yes you will need a tune for a tbe but not for a cbe!
since your in Treverton you dont have a tuner anywhere close to ya, so until your ready for a pro-tune, grab youself an accessport for easy tuning.
Also hunt down a guy in your town named Mike Witkoski(Mike Witt) hes pretty knowlegable about cars and he may be able to point out a more local pro tuner, the tuner im gonna use is all the way down in York but from what I hear and read it worth the drive and time. Also on the note of Witt, he will bolt anything up for you for a cheap price/do any body work and or detail even(if you would like)..

anyway..good luck and use the search option to the upper right of every screen for most of your other questions that have already been answered

Just a small side note. There are adapters you can buy that change 3" to 2.5" exhaust. Pretty cheap...like 20 or 30 bucks...maybe less. Just to elaborate a little....a cat back won't get you any power at all just sound. He is right though pick up a Cobb accessport. I have one and love it! Kind of pricey but worth it if you live a ways from a tuner
