I am pretty sure a pro-tune on E85 will get you very very close to your goal. You will just need to upgrade your fuel pump and get some 1000cc injectors and you should be right about there! And I don't think needed but a bonus would be to get a EBCS like the one Grimmspeed sells to have better control over boost.
E85 uses about 30% more fuel so you need larger injectors. And I believe none of the stock fuel pump support E85 so that's another must
Also I'm thinking 350HP for right now not WHP. What's a good fuel pump for my set up?(please post a link) Would I need a tune once the injectors and fuel pump + E85 tune are installed/mapped?
as stated you will need a new fuel pump and 1000cc injectors. you will also need about 1-2 feet of new fuel hose. not for your entire car but for the few bits of rubber hose in the engine bay.
they come with the cobb kit, but if you are not buying the complete cobb kit you will need to replace these short rubber fuel lines with E85 safe rubber fuel lines.
also 350HP and 350WHEEL HP are quite different (you need to specify). you will not hit 350 wheel hp on your stock turbo. 350HP though... is right about at its limit with E85 and a good tune.
As much as all of us can give you ideas on what to get. What you need to do is contact the tuner you will be using to tune this car and ask them what they recommend. That will give you the best end results. Tuners typically like "X" Brand for whatever reasons. So by following their guidelines you will set yourself up for them to be able to provide you with the best/reliable tune you can get.
also being on a Stage 2 tune you are already close to 350hp as your model is about 285hp to start. Once you go to a stage 2 tune you are close to 315hp I believe. E85 alone can add more that 35hp. Going the Flex fuel route might be a good option if you don't have E85 readly available to you. If you do then I wouldn't waste the money on that kit. But again that's my opinion. I don't have E85 anywhere close so I would go with the flex fuel kit BUT they don't have it for my car soooo FML
If you are in an E85 dry state like California you might consider a Meth injection kit. You will see similar results without running E85 and you can pickup methanol at just about any auto parts store ( look in the windshield wiper fluid section )
Keep in mind that its not a replacement for fuel pump and injectors as you would be fuel starving the system pushing beyond stage 2 but with a nice high flow pump and injector setup a methanol injection kit would allow your tuner to be considerably more aggressive without the threat of knock.
If you end up with a quality meth kit they also have systems in place that notify you when your fluid level is getting low and also to trigger changes in your tune to keep everything running safe and sound.
No a tuner will tune it for you. Go on Cobbs website an there is a locator that shows you who is a certified Cobb Tuner. Then call one/all of those shops and talk to them about what they recommend for a E85 tune.
What part of tx? cobb has a store in plano and in austin.
id be carefull dealing with cobb "certified" dealers. i have visited many such stores and they are not qualified to do most work.
as far as injectors... cobb 1000 cc injectors are what you want.
and the fuel pump is def needed also...
here i would go with AEM...
(Cobb even recomends aem over their own pump)
if you are going with all of this, you might as well do the whole thing right
that will get you all you need for your fuel issue
