Well that is all people do anymore is come on here, being new to performance cars most of the time, and start rattling off what they think they know...Makes a man just wanna not be on a automotive board at all. Hell half the people on here and most site don't even know how to tune a carb...BAH!!! back to work.

Im a little surprised you are not going to keep them with the Nissan logo on them in homage to your Z FOL

You could get them cleaned up real nice, then paint them black and do the Nissan letters in red.
Just a thought

Don't be so hard on the guy...

Maybe you didn't know that with today's technology, turbo blankets can reduce the intake air temperature to the ambient air temperature. Heck, I'm doing the intercooler delete mod once I find some WRB flexible tubing.

I used to adjust my K5's Quadrajet primaries by ear (changes in exhaust pulses and idle speed). I miss those days...

Had to buy some new lugs for the ASA wheels...even though I have x3 sets in the basement lol! None of which are the "tuner" aka low clearance style though so I had to order a set. Only $18 on eBay.

Yeah I'm sure! I always spend good money on lugs but obv not for the winter setup. I'd ne'er run an all black lug otherwise. I literally just bought the cheapest black (to go with silver wheels) lugs I seen on eBay.

Found a new vinyl hookup last night (haven't needed custom vinyls in years) and put my order in for center cap logos. I went with the new logo design over the original that came on the EM9 wheel. They'll be red just like the photo...and only $5 😁

I'll be picking up my tires this Saturday in Rhode Island which are Bridgestone Blizzak's with 9/32nds left for $125. Total money invested for a winter setup $298. I've gotta be in some type of record book for this lol!!

Pay him no mind Keith. This is the same person who said the following about a BOV for his 3G in another thread. Take pity...

Riceburner; Do you wanna sell your blow off valve? Or are you going to use it when you figure out your problem.
I've always wanted one of those types since I was like ten. They sound cool!

Finally finished modifying my center caps and mounted up my tires today. I'm probably gonna battle the darkness and bolt em on in a bit. It being dark at 5pm really sucks!

I've gotta wait for the clear to cure on the caps so those will have to wait to be popped in, but here's what it'll look like completed....

Thanks Nate. I didn't think about the fact ASA changed their center cap size after the EM9 and they're smaller now. I based the "new" logo off ASA specs so seeing that logo usually goes on newer wheels it looks small on my center caps. Wish they were like a 1/4" taller. Width looks good but height...eh! A lot better than a Nissan logo I suppose lol!
