STI TMIC fitting WRX

I was wondering what all I would have to do to make an STI TMIC fit on my wrx?! like what modding I will have to do and what parts I will need to buy?

I don't understand? just for the tmic? I would be getting tuned for all this since I will be supporting mods like injectors, pump, turbo inlet, and 3port

I'm eventually going with an aftermarket intercooler, splitter and Y-pipe set, and I like the Grimmspeed TMIC item.

on 08+ wrx the turbo bolts directly to the intercooler. The sti uses a hose. They also have different intake manifolds.

Your turbo bolts to the TMIC. The STI TMIC has a y-pipe and is clocked differently.

That sucks I guess I have to spend the extra cash! So there is no way to mod the Sti tmic to work?

There is. You need the aforementioned parts. STI parts won't fit otherwise unlike the cross compatibility that older models had. However, there are far more turbo upgrade options if you go for the STI style fitment since any turbo that fits older GD Imprezas will fit versus your current car only sharing Legacy GT fitment.
