I realize this thread is a month old, but the 08 stage 2 tuned shouldn't be as quick as the 08 STi. At the track in my old 02 (stage 2 OTS Cobb map) got ROCKED by a stage 0 STi. (04 STi). I promise it wasn't the driver, because the Sti didn't get as good a launch as me, and he still posted better than me by an easy half second. (I don't remember the exact figures)

we were probably the first people to actually drive on that street in a week. i know those roads very well, and there were no intersections over the length of road we raced on. no need to be self righteouss, especially when you dont know the situation. i live in louisiana out in the middle of nowhere.

hmm..i dunno maybe its the difference b/t the 2.0 and 2.5. i also had a perrin crank pulley and a k&n filter installed at the time i raced the sti, but im not sure if that made much of a difference.
