SPT bottleneck?

Hey guys 1st time poster and future 09 WRX owner. I've done alot of reading and research and have my build path planed out but have a question concerning the SPT exhaust. I'm currently in paperwork process on a 09 sedan rex w/ SPT package. My 1st upgrade plan was a "TurboXS Stealthback Exhaust" DP&race pipe. Will the SPT be a bottle neck after going non cat up to midpipe? My understanding is the sedan SPT is 2.5 in back till muffler. Should I just get one without the SPT package and go with a 3" aftermarket exhaust. Thanx for ## feedback.

Nope, the SPT is more then capable of maximum power. You'll be fine with it.

Thanx, for the input guys. Ya while reading some other posts I came across COBB's exhaust explanation and if there’s any place to reduce flow it’s in the back. Hopefully this combo will have a good flow and backpressure mix.

I didn't measure it, but I know my exhaust is bigger than 2.5 inches. The stocker was about 2.5. Maybe you're looking at only the rear mufflers? The main pipe is big all the way back from the downpipe. I've got the SPT, and it definitely was well worth the money. I highly recommend it.
