I just hate that.
I'm tempted to snag the older td04 for $90 off CL so I can trade the insta spool for a bit better top end.
I actually hate how fast our 2.5Ls spool our stockers.
I drive at 2500-3k, shift at 3-3.5k.
Stock, I'm at max wtq between 2800-3300.
So, I'm always burning hella gas and not any fun past 5k rpm.
I am goin for a setup that I'm 200wtq around 3-3.5k and up from there.
I want as little taper as can be, so I'm not pushing for peak numbers.
Literally, I want 18psi from about 3-3300 to redline.
I'm looking for a torque curve/perfect driving experience, NOTHING else.
What I'm wanting will allow me to get good gas mpgs if I stay below/outta boost and ALMOST instant throttle snap.
Look at Syno's chart.
With a fmic, 255pump,ebcs, ewg, TBE, and 750-850cc and a vf52.
Syno's on stock injectors but other people who have bigger on the vf52 are tapering to 17-19 at redline.
My number goal, if I gotta say is 320/320 on a mustang dyno.
I'm not worried about hitting/beating that, it's just a goal.
Thoughts/advice/wisdom to share?
