I picked up my Cobb DP today locally for $300. It was in good shape and had no obvious flaws. Getting it locally helped me have a little more confidence. It took about 3 months of trolling NASIOC to find it, but I think it was worth the wait.

If you have the time and patience, and not that deep of pockets or having trouble saving up, there is absolutely nothing wrong with buying somthing used. Especially if you can personally go and look at it before actually purchasing it.
