Not saying it's BS, but you can do this: http://www.iwsti.com/forums/how-inst...ails-pics.html for like $20 compared to buying $350 fuel rails

What I said

The only real benefit to aftermarket rails IMO is something you can do to the stock ones anyways.

Dibs!

I know it's offtopic and kinda dated but Syno, I call dibs on that vf52.

I've seen a few times that you're selling soon, I'll call dibs on 3Gwrx also, if I gotta! Hahaha

Haha I have a low, safe build planned and the 52 will be perfect.

I prefer my bugeye's 2.0L motor over the 2.5s.

Not trying to do more than 18psi on this motor, ever haha

I'm looking for a build a lot like yours. what order would you suggest i go in? Right now i plan on doing the TBE, CAI and SS but the closest tuner is 6 hours away from me so i really want to do a lot of upgrading this time around because it will be a long time before i can make it back there.

i went cheapest to expensive. if you have a TBE and CAI try also a fuel pump at only $80, or a 3-port EBCS at $90, maybe 1 step colder plugs at $35, light weight pulley for $100, or UP for under $200. none of these will really boost power but will get them out of the way now. and since these cars are very touchy with mods its better to install them and then get tuned. your bigggest thing holding you back though is the stock TMIC.

Just a curiosity but does anyone know the flow rate of the stock TMIC?

What do you think of all the things you listed + a BOV? And that will all be put on and tuned at once. Then I will start on some suspension upgrades?

no clue but it pretty much blows the end tanks at 18psi. a guy on nasioc made clamps to hold it together and is running more, maybe 20-22psi?? so it basically flows enough but i have no idea his IDC or timing which are both probably poor numbers.

if you upgrade the IC you should upgrade the BPV same time.

How did you do the custom blow through and oil catch? Just like to know for future reference. And why the 38mm EWG rather than 44?

new oil catch can setup

Went blow through on my 09 WRX for cheap!!

the new 38mm is very small and subis suck to begin with so more room the better!!!!

Plus you don't need much more than 38mm on a 2.5L engine.. Common misconception that you size your wastegate by the turbo. To a point, yes you do, as a larger turbo needs more exhaust to flow through it rather than diverted through the gate, so you can use a smaller wastetage.

In the end, how much exhaust gas your engine can kick out really determines how big your WG needs to be.

An EJ25 running a GT3076 will probably need a smaller gate than somebody with an Inline 6 running the same turbo as he has way more exhaust to divert.

also don't forget if you go with a twinscroll setup down the road you need to run a dual wastegate setup
