Question Need opinions on this.

Gonna order a few things for the drive train. Need your opinions on this, good or bad.

1. STI, Group Pitch stopper.
2. STI, 5speed trans mount.
3. Perrin, lock down system.

Note: Gonna get the new motor mount in time but not at the current time. Might seem stupid to do the baove with out installing the M/M. Thanks Brad

im not a fan on buying stock stuff as "aftermarket" upgrades. although im not an expert on why they call it "STI" and "group 5" or something. is it better/stiffer/aftermarket??? i see are pitch stops are plastic and aftermarket ones are metal so thats an improvment i think. does the stock one really flex? if it snapped id replace it but ive never heard of one snapping and guys are running some 360-380 ft lbs of tq.

since your at 285/285 and injectors are maxed, id spend the money on injectors and tune. you already have the pump. trade your injectors in and get new ones for only $200. now you cant go above 19psi because your BOV, TMIC and EBCS cant handle it. but 2 more PSI should push you over 300/300 and id shoot for that!

The STi pitchstop considerably stiffens the front to back movement from the wrx one. Buy things used if possible in case you don't like the way it all feels.

The Perrin setup worked well on my old 07wrx, but the 09's had the suspension upgraded since then.

I put the subframe lockdown kit on my 09 two weeks ago.. I can feel a bit better connection with the ground under accel, but other than that I don't notice much. I'm especially happy that I don't notice any more NVH, even with Perrin 25/22mm sways front and rear w/endlinks. Overall for 40 bux after a discount they're worth it. One thing to consider is to get the rear diff lockdown kit too, just released.

The STi Group N stuff is money. I have the Sti Group N tranny mounts and motor mounts on my '05 WRX. So yes do 1 and 2 for sure.

As for #3 I was not aware Perrin had a version out for the '08-09 WRX (I would check to make sure it works for you year WRX). Personally, I would wait until Kartboy or Whiteline comes out with theirs (particularly the Kartboy) b/c their suspension products tend to be WAY better than Perrin's.

all three are out and as for kartboy its the same as the Perrin, just a poly ring, whitelines the way to go since there the only ones that use poly teeth that fill the gaps!
