I have my own personal doubts about really needing any of those. I can see the pitch mount, but unless your really wanting to make it a track car I just can't see the benefit out weighting the cost...Then again what do I know about being super helpful.

The brace helps the firewall not to crack or stress press

Never heard of a firewall cracking on these cars....Granted you guys are on a new platform, but Subaru's are pretty ridged factory....again what do I know.

There's a guy here local that had his firewall crack. Not sure what year but it was a 08+. He put a video of it on fb.

are you guys doing to crack the firewall? I mean that is part of the structural rigidity of the car itself which allows the crumble zone front end to keep from killing the driver...

Sorry, I was mistaken. It was clutch pedal welds that the local guy broke. Tagged some of y'all on fb with the video so you can see.

How many reported cases? Is this gonna be like the crank walk on 2nd gen DSMs where it was only like 1% of them had crankwalk yet people made a big deal out of it and everyone thought all of them got crankwalk?

I've seen multiple threads Keith, 08+
Once cracked, the manufacturer will weld it back for a several hundred dollar fee.

Super ghey I know

I guess I don't full understand something here. What's causing the crack? The flex of the engine?

Not the engine. The braking and clutching of pedals. Chances are it'll never but for a 75 dollar brace on the master cylinder that makes a very noticeable difference then why not. As the years go by, the quality of cars are getting worse. Again it may never happen to my car. I don't beat my car. But even driving it normally you can see a diff in the master cylinder brace.

The firewall on these cars are spongey. Crack is a bad term. But there have been situations when the flexing of the soft firewall caused the metal to weaken and tear. The brace is just an added feature that makes a noticeable diff. Chances are it'll never happen but for 75 bucks, I'll toss one in.
