Killer B headers

Has anyone heard of this company/ these headers? They look very different from all the other equal length headers out there.

http://www.killerbmotorsport.com/index_files/header.htm

Also, is it true that you really don't need headers unless you are running a stage 3+ setup?
Thanks

I've personally never heard of them, but that doesn't mean they're crap neither. I'm sure someone's heard of or owned their product and will chime in though.

But yes, IMO I wouldn't bother with headers or an up pipe unless going to stage 3. That's when you'd have the other supporting mods to see the gains worth spending that much money on them. A CBE is also unnecessary unless stage 3 and is more of a personal mod and can be done whenever you simply want some more rumble. The only money well spent in a stage 2 setup car is getting a DP, as that's the #1 power gainer in the exhaust system and only money well spent mod unless going stage 3 and having other supporting mods that'll make the $700+ headers worth it.

IMO just stick with a DP and CBE tops until you're ready to hit the major leagues with a stage 3 setup FOL!

Thanks! That's what I thought, just trying to prove my bother wrong lol. He knows just enough to get himself in a lot of trouble, and keeps trying to get me to buy headers. I personally wouldn't go with equal length headers, that ruins the subie sound.
When I finally get to start modifying my wrx, it'll probably just be an intake,bpv/bigger TMIC, dp and a spt cbe and a stage 2 Cobb tune. Nothing too crazy

That's who I went with. Went stage 2 with him about 3 months ago and have nothing but good things to say so far! We'll see how his tune holds up on my Mountain Run this weekend when I really get to put it to the test.

KillerB is top tier. You don't need it, but for stage 2 and up you can benefit.

that test in the right hand column of the OP's link was done on my shop's (Yimi Sport Tuning) time attack car in 2010, which is obviously way beyond "stage 2" specs when you look at the info in the link. I can assure you that they wouldn't be using it if they thought it was crap.

Good to know. Hadn't heard of them as headers were never a thought for me. Their product looks nice though. I'll also keep the name in mind if the stage 3 bug comes a knockin' lol!

I have both, at least until the end of next month. I just sold my house against my will.
