Smile Just had my CNT racing exhaust put on.

Well after a year of owning my WRX I finally had a little extra coinage to put towards my car. I didn't have alot of money so after looking around i found the CNT exhaust. It was $350 shipped. After taking it out of the box and putting it on I am super happy. Fit like a dream and has great build quality. i would highly recommend this exhaust if your on a budget. Sound is excellent, but the highway drone is there. Oh well...there has to be some cons to it i guess. Its also a single exit and i'm surprised it doesnt look too bad with the open exhast hole in the bumper. I'm waiting till my warranty is up before i throw on a Dp and get it tuned.

so stock its not even funny...just kinda sad :(

with the cheaper price i hope they really used 304 stainless or a good quality of some. if not it will start to pit. not using stainless welds is a problem too. keep an eye on it.

They don't use 304. Where the OP lives, it's guaranteed to rust by winter. CNT = ERZ, and there are plenty of documented cases of rust on ERZ exhausts.

what a shame!!! i hate ERZ! OP to tell for sure get a good strong magnet and if it sticks or you feel an attraction you dont have 304.

I don't doubt that it's still stainless steel, it's probably just a lower grade.

ERZ really chaps synolimit's ass...when his DP and CBE didn't fit.

Randy: Good luck with the exhaust bro. I know how badly you want to mod and tune that beast.

yea i'm not too worried about it. I know you get what you pay for. Right now this exhaust will do just fine. My stock exhaust is up on the garage just in case. Honestly i only want to keep this car for maybe another 2 years and i think it will be STI time.

so stock its not even funny...just kinda sad :(
