intercooler hoses, are they worth it?

I've been reading that upgrading the intercooler hoses are a good first mod. i have found alot online for older models, are they worth putting on a 2013, if so what are some recommended brands.

Pros: silicone is more durable than plastic, added bling to mod list, smooth inner walls flow air better than corrugations, potentially more colorful (in that order).

Con: you'll spend some of your hard-earned money on a part that won't make a huge difference in power.

I'd say it's totally worth it!

I have the black silicone hoses that came with my Turbo XS tmic... not even sure what brand they are. They're secured with T-bolt clamps, and so far, I haven't had any issues with them popping off or leaking.

I would say any benefit found on an older Mille would be similar on a newer one.
Plus.... Blang blang!!!!

They were a good upgrade for GDs, however your TMIC sometimes has issues handling the amount of boost made by cars running an exhaust and tune. So I would save up for an entirely new TMIC (for when you get to that point) since what you're wanting to get now is going to come with it anyways.

Process West is the one I am saving up for. But meanwhile I bought a AVO throttle body hose for it.
