Jeez, I cant find decent parts at a price that wont force me to take out a loan to get for my fricken sedan. Sure is fustrating seen as how I got my freakin tax return with nothing to spend it on. Most of what I find is for a hatchback. However there is part slowly and I mean slowly coming out. Perrins got some stuff like a BOV and up-pipe that just came out. Any of you older model wrx'ers know where I should start? Got about 3800 to spend.
Just wait and be patient. I wouldn't go buying the first part you come across just because you want to spend your money. I'd say the first thing you should get is a cobb a/p and go stage I. After that get a turbo back exhuast and flash to stage 2. You should be able to do this for half of the money you have, gain probably 40hp, and feel a huge difference in your car. Thing is you just have to be patient
How about don't spend it all and invest some? Invest that 1400 left over coolwrxs plan and make your money work for you? I dont think you will need an uppipe unless subaru went back to putting cats in the uppipe but I kinda doubt it.

I defected to an evo :)
just picked up the Cobb A/P and WOW! That would certainly be the first thing to do, even with the stock engine, the increase in performance is amazing!
Well guys, my salesman at the dealership gave me a call and said they got a 07sti in and wanted to know if I would be intrested...hell ya. So now...same questions as before but different car. The cars completely stock and has about 18k miles on it. Let me know where I should start.
The STi upgrade path is very similar to the WRX. It's basically the same car, except the STi comes from the factory with better tires, better brakes, a better transmission, a slightly better tune, and a few other things which you probably already know about. The first mods you should look into are still going to be engine management and a downpipe.
