How much Horse Power can you make with 91 octane in 2011 WRX?

I live in Oklahoma and am going to purchase a 2011 really soon but we only have 91 very very few 93 gas stations. So my question is how much safe AWHP can I make over stock with 91? Thanks in advance. CD

91 is the minimum. AZ, CA, and NV only have 91. You can do plenty with 91 octane, but 93 or higher will always be better. To the tuning question, COBB makes specific maps for 91 octane. Interesting though is that with 91 octance you get more HP with stage 1 w/intake than you do with Stage 2 w/intake

That is a weird little factoid on their maps. But, I'm sure its due to them tapering the maps back just in case people get too much knock at stage 2 with 91 oct AZ, CA, and NV.

Do research and READ the thread.....
1) buy the CAR
2) chose yr set up...

Max boost you've hit on your 08 or 09 WRX
If you are picking a WRX for crazy ass HP yr better off getting an STi or get an EVO. If you have the money to invest so much into yr engine buy a Z06 or ZR1 anything V8! Gas should be the last thing on yr mind.

Just in case you didn't know 2009-2011 have the same engine (HP) what makes different is front mesh grill, lip, and wider body on the 2011!
