heres a question i havnt seen yet!!!!

say i dont want to spend 700 on a Cobb and 300-450 on a dyno tune! will a dyno shop have a cobb or anything to do it? do a custom tune with a turbo back and a full intake and leave and prob never do anything else to the car. whats the point of spending 700 if im only gonna use it once? or does the cobb have a second computer that stays connected to the ecu 24/7? thanks

the cobb has programing in it that only allows it to be installed in one car at a time, even if the cobb it self is not left in the car. although, the cobb will serve as a data monitoring device if left in the car. all of this info is on their website, so you may want to check that out for further details.

Sorry I'm comming from other cars and it's been awhile. I remember spending hours hooking up and splicing wires into a ecu. What's an opensource tune? Just show up to a good wrx dyno let them do there thing and call it a day/month/year?
