Fmic ?

hey guys question for anyone with good knowledge. I just got a GodSpeed FMIC for my 2002 JDM Spec wrx, and i also have a AEM Short Ram Intake with a T04E T3/T4 TURBO TURBOCHARGER .63 A/R 57 TRIM, does any one know if this will be a good set up with minimal turbo lag? I do have a Blitz SSK aftermarket BOV so i will not be using stock. But if that does not seem to be a good starting mod, perhaps i will hold off on the FMIC and get an aftermarket TMIC. What i am looking to do is drive the car daily but here on the autobahn i would like to open it up every once and a while. Any suggestions?

throw that turbo away

why do you say that bad turbo

Basically, unless you're running a turbo bigger than a 20G, you should just stick with a larger TMIC. You're going to have more turbo lag with a FMIC.

thanks perhaps ill try and pick up a vf30 with the FMIC that should give me the kick i am looking for on the long straight roads and still drive worthy everyday

Huh? He tells you one thing and you come to the conclusion you should do the opposite?

Return the FMIC and the eBay turbo. And stop trying to modify the car past your level of understanding.

I don't think you can't counteract the turbo lag of a FMIC with a quick spoiling turbo.

Depending on the flow of the FMIC there are some that can actually increase spool over the ultra restrictive TMIC

On paper maybe, but can you name any such comparisons that are made for our cars? ;)
