Exhaust Opinion Needed!

Hey guys,
Just traded in my 2011 Nissan Juke for an '09 5 door WRX. I take the keys after the safety tomorrow, and was curious to hear your opinions on my exhaust choices.

On my nissan juke (1.6L Direct Injection Turbo) i had a Magnaflow high flow cat, and deleted the resonator and muffler with 2.5" Straight pipe to the back. It was surprisingly a really nice end result, more than likely due to the small displacement, and massive primary cat bolted directly on the turbo.

I am really leaning towards deleting the factory muffler on the WRX and running a similar setup, although it may be a tad overpowering after the fact. I am only able to play with an axleback setup (for extended warranty reasons). The alternative would be to get a generic magnaflow straight through muffler and replace the massive stock one. This however is added cost, and although the sound would be much more refined, i am wondering if it will be loud enough for my taste. I have no concern for the legalities of having no muffler.

Will this sound too harsh?
Will I have an unbearable drone on the highway?

Let me know your opinions!

Look into nameless performance axle backs for your car, I love the sound and they make a muffler delete system for ya.

^^^agreed! Buddy of mine has a Nameless on his 2010 hatch. Sounds amazing. No rasp or drone at all :)

I now own the car, and on day 2 i had the muffler delete done by my local exhaust shop. 4th car i have taken to this guy, and the 4th time I've been impressed.

For the record, absolutely in love with this car.
