down pipe need help

eBay Motors: 08 WRX Invidia Bellmouth Divorced Wastegate Downpipe (item 160208058745 end time Feb-22-08 07:40:33 PST)


can any one look at this and let me know if this is a decent down pipe.... if so im going to try and get it cheap lol...

Invidia makes a good downpipe, no doubt there. Personally, I do not prefer the divorced wastegate design though.

what does the divorced wastegate mean exactlly ? and does it hurt proformance at all or is it just a i like this on over that one?

With the divorced design, there is a plate which seperates the exhaust flow from the turbo vs. the wastegate, which slightly decreases turbulance. However, this design will not work with most upgraded turbos.

The bellmouth design (no plate) works fine with the stock turbo, and is equipped for an upgraded turbo so if you plan on upgrading, you don't have to buy another DP

I have an Invidia Bellmouth, and your better off getting one as stated above. I don't even think they make the model I have anymore. There is always the EZR Ebay DP.

+1billion the the bellmouth design. After alot of reading and researching is the best route to go. Like stated above, goes with stock turbo, and just about any after maket turbo you might get.
