Divorce waste-gate vs high flow cat downpipe

Is a high flow cat downpipe really worth the extra $300 over the divorce waste gate?

Depends what you are doing with your set-up.

Also depends if you NEED the cat for emissions or not (think you do in Canada)

Get a bellmouth with a HF CAT.

I don't need the cat here but will it throw up a check engine light if I have a turbo xs catback and a turbo xs catless dp? I was told it may throw the O2 sensors off.

It may.... Just get the catted one. Save yourself time and headaches. 3-5HP isn't worth it.... That and the smell.

the CEL is somewhat unrelated to the cat. You're changing the piping, the sensor is likely to be unhappy. That's why every engine management system disables the stupid things. Their purpose is to report emissions related errors to the ECU so that a shop doesn't need to actually test your car, they can simply scan the ECU and say "it passes". Turning off the sensor does not hurt your car.

Any idea how one would go about disabling the O2 sensor? My mechanic is curious because he has never heard of disabling them, just bypassing them in which case they eventually come back on. He has never worked on anything but chevy, dodge and ford though.

you can disconnect the sensor and wire in a small resistor, it will act like the sensor is reporting back "OK". This the the manual fix for "disabling" the sensor. Most of us just re-program the ECU to ignore the sensor though, which is relatively simple.
