Cobb Down Pipe Install

Just ordered a Cobb DP yesterday. I will hopefully be installing it within the next few weeks along with installing Cobb AP OTS stage 2. I also plan on ordering an OEM turbo to DP gasket to replace the one on the car currently. Those of you that installed this DP or a DP in general on the 08+ have any recommendations or tips that would come in handy while attacking this task? It doesn't sound or look too difficult. The car currently is at a little more than 13k miles on it so hopefully nothing is too heated on. I found a few DIY links that should be helpful, but I'm hoping to hear opinions of your personal experiences. Thanks for the input.

Buy a can of PB Blaster and spray the DP nuts and CB. You probably won't need a new gasket... never hurts to have one on hand though. I've got nothing else for the new Gen.

PB blaster is always on hand when I have these sorts of projects
I'm going to get a new gasket. Don't want to take any chances, or be in the middle of it and find out I need one lol.

They are cheap enough. Change it. Do not reuse the old one!

I am lol. Like I said, I'm not taking any chances. I don't want to have a leak and have to take it apart again. I'd rather go the extra step the 1st time.

Oh I didn't know that. I guess I will wait until I get the dp before I order a gasket.

Call and ask em.

I forgot how cheap the gaskets were for the Subies. The Speed DP gasket is like $75 from the dealer and $50 for an aftermarket one.

The cobb dp does not come with any gaskets from what I was told earlier. Did anyone have problems with the studs on the turbo getting messed up?

Yea that would be a bad move lol. I wouldn't even think of doing something like that after it was running.
