COBB cat back for 2010 WRX

Hey, I'm going to be getting an exhaust soon and I wanted a Perrin exhaust, but I also heard COBB makes a nice exhaust. So after going on their site, they don’t advertise a cat back for the wrx. However, I have seen a guy on YouTube who has a COBB cat back on his WRX. If anyone could tell me if they actually made a cat back for the wrx that would be great, and where I could buy from.

They may be out of stock. Plenty of other places sell Cobb parts but whoever you buy from you should call or email them to verify they actually have the part in stock before ordering or you could be in for a long wait. Also, verify that it fits your exact model, I think the sedan and the hatch have different exhaust cutouts.

You forgot to mention the turboxs and invidia are significantly louder than either perrin or cobb. If volume isn't an issue, turboxs it up, if it is an issue go with cobb or perrin. They're both solid.

o ya, fredbeansparts.com is the best place ive found after a year of owning and looking for deals. Call them and there internet prices get even cheaper!!! my intro TXS CBE was $449 shipped, Perrin DP $370 shipped, invidia catless DP $255 shipped, and TXS FMIC $960 shipped, ive bought more and i think they do customer loyality, there new site sucks though.

o and there in PA so you get your stuff in a day or two.

Thanks for the replies but volume is an issue. I was looking at the invidia non-race version but I think that will still be too loud. Besides I don't really want a loud drone on the freeway. What do you mean when you say these exhausts will rust? They're made out of stainless steel so I thought they wouldn't be too bad during the winter.

the invidia q300, the quiet one, is really quite!

they say there all made of stainless steel. doesnt mean they have to be. half the wed sites even name the wrong kinda like 321 on perrin headers and welds and hangers are not subject to be stainless. only the mufflers and pipe have to be. im pretty sure there all made in China too. but no matter where there made, the Perrin, TXS, and Cobb that ive seen personally all show signs. we're not talking about them thing falling off anytime soon, (unless you get SPT, they do break a lot because they dont use stainless flanges or welds) corrosion is defiantly a problem in ohio. i got pics if you want them.

All right, thanks for the info. Still have to decide between the perrin, cobb, and invidia though. Thoughts?

For what it's worth, Perrin claims all their parts are made using United States materials and labor.

It'll be a while and the EWG doesn't help lol... I basically turn into straight pipes before the turbo above 3k rpm's. I'm also in Omaha until Friday night, so I'm missing my car. I'll be taking a video of the EWG once I get tuned (probably mid next week), and I'll have one up then.
