Yeah the tonal quality is significantly different with the equal length header!

Yeah, I'm very interested in negative feedback on Blouch. Personally, I should go up and take pics of the inside of the shop. Seeing as how they're not that deathly far from me. I've seen Mike's WRB STI hawkeye in person at my tuners. It's a really nice ride. Plus, my tuner has a sales partnership with them. Seeing that they're the most willing to make custom turbo set-ups for them. I've known about the billet wheels. Boost. My tuner is working on BBK turbos from Blouch. Basically a branded turbo for my tuner. The compressor wheel being a blue billet wheel. (Branded Blue Billet Kompressors, to make them seem performance marketable.) A.K.A. BBK turbos. They have the Evo BBK turbo finalized and are working on a STI BBK still. Basically striving for the ultimate streetable turbo, power plus driveabilty. I'm glad to hear more people are agreeing that Blouch is their choice.

Edit: The BBK Evo turbo put down 370 whp (mustang dyno) on the car I rode in, with supporting mods of course. The evo was still very sleeper with its cobb cbe, but the car had lots of kick with the pedal down.

Go check out Ratfinks post on this header- he put it on his Sti, and I don't know if it was just me, but I didn't hear any of the cackle pop. Least not nearly as much as Boost appears to have on his. The cackle pop sounds are definitely a minus for me.

Boost- any idea why yours does that? I noticed it in your videos even before the header- is it intentional on your part?

No.. definitely not intentional. I'm just not hearing it that bad in person. Did you guys see the new video on page 33? It could be that my camera amplifies higher pitch sounds?

It could be the Invidia's high flow cat...

Not particularly.... On a fresh/cold start, AFRs dance between 14.1-14.6 at idle until about 30 seconds in, then they are right around 14.7...

Even though the exhaust sound has changed with the ELH....you can still hear it and tell its a Subaru.

I dunno... ELH combined with the loud Turbo XS exhaust seems a bit much to me... One of the main reasons I've always wanted a WRX is because they don't sound like any other 4-banger. If I ever decide to go EL then I'm hoping my COBB will keep it much more subtle.

LOL, yeah. It should spool faster because of the billet wheel. That's one sexy beast of a turbo. Good thing your not going to push it right away. The engine internals and trans might start to get stressed with that beast on the car pushed up the whole way. I'd say it might be time to start thinking those two things over before you crank that bad boy up.
