YES! Can't wait to see it. That spoiler is nothing but fantastic, and totally worth the drive IMO.

Syno,

This is quite funny that you posted this. I have had mine on order for a few days. I wasn't sure that it would look right until you posted this an I followed the link to the 3gwrx.com white pearl with STi wing. I am stoked now. Can't wait to see the pics of yours.

I'm torn. I kinda like the way it looks, but I've always hated the wing and now I have an internal battle going on.

Think it'd look good on the hatch? You can't beat a little extra downforce.

Looks good man. I see your point about the rear bumper. I wonder if it would be the same as the front also. Found the answer on both (i think)

Well, you might be able to bolt up the bumper, but the line isn't exactly the same. You notice how it bulges out for the fender flare(not really a fender, but I don't know what else to call it)? That's why it's not a direct swap. The front can be done. You just need the fenders, bumper cover, and possibly the bumper itself too.

So all you need is to swap trunks with an STI?

Yes same as previous years. All the same lid. Well don't forget torsion bars. No trunk has 6.34mm, small wing has 7.14mm and STI was closer to 8mm.

Thanks for all the pics, guys, it looks awesome! Definitely going to do this to my 2010. Honestly, I think it looks better on the 2010 without the wide body kit than on the 2011 STI.

I kind of want this to be the first upgrade I make. I've already found the drag limited top speed on the stock 2010 is 145, and I'm curious if I can get it significantly higher with nothing but the wing.

Now I just need to find someone who wants to swap trunks for the little spoiler . It's silver and in the Philadelphia area, if you happen to know someone.

I've taken my hatch faster than that with mud flaps on it (on the salt flaps). If the wing is your first upgrade then you hit the electronic speed limiter.

That's interesting, because the hatch is supposedly 0.37 drag coefficient where the sedan is 0.36 (not sure if that's with or without the small spoiler, though I doubt it makes much of a difference). How high did you get it? I won't be surprised if the governor isn't much higher than 145, I have seen people claim it's right at 145.

Maybe the drier air in the salt flats makes a difference.

I'm not expecting a huge difference from the wing, Subaru claims it lowers the drag coefficient to 0.35 (on the 2011), but a few MPH and a fraction of a MPG would be nice.
