Question AEM failsafe wiring on 09/10 WRX

Hi all, having difficulty finding answers on wiring in the rpm and data logging wires for the AEM Failsafe!

I have a 2010 CS10 and successfully installed the gauge but can't find wiring diagram for the rpm wire.

I was hoping this gauge would work in RomRaider but it doesn't show up as a com device

Just wondering if anyone has installed one on an 09/10 and can advise on wiring in the green rpm wire, and if the yellow boost and white afr analog output cables can be plugged into the ECU for direct logging with Romraider or other method?

Cheers,

Um, you do realize they have a list of what this gauge works with. http://www.aemelectronics.com/images/wideband_list.jpg and got that off this page http://www.aemelectronics.com/wideba...safe-gauge-84/

Which most of those EMS are not user friendly for Subarus. It's mostly useful for piggyback setups. Even though it says it'll run off ecu in certain situations. Sounds like AEM just wants you to buy a AEM piggyback ECU...

Yeah I saw in Romraider there is a selection for AEM, but think its for just the afr model, not failsafe! At the moment I'd be happy finding the rpm cable to get more resolution in the fail safe software, ECU out and pulled apart the dash but can't tell what colour cable is for rpm!!

Lucky dip? !!

Turns out on the 2010 it's the grey wire with thin red line in the middle of connector.

Hope this helps someone.
