I hear you on that , but I've had K & N systems on a naturally aspirated car and had gains. I dont expect gains on a turbo car , but I do expect wooshing a and rbv sounds. I love the rbv sound , I wanna feel like I'm driving a turbo car .
Thats cool man. I totally understand. And the main thing is if you are happy with it, dont let anyone take you down for it.
Do you really think I care what people say ?......See that car in my avatar picture to the left , thats my old escort zx2 weighing in at 2384lbs, ......it put down 243hp/251tq @6.7 psi , ......a wrx nightmare.
So the install was about a half hour , and its a bolt on intake , with all the usual whooshing and RBV sounds like a spt intake , heres a few pictures , and also my rally armor mudflaps and HID low and high beams coversion. Tomorrow I will be hard wireing my Valentine radar detector into the cigerette lighter and installing a prosport boost gauge which the car really needs for monitoring purposes.
SPT and AEM got together and actually made the intake . This intake is the same lenth and width as oem , and yes it deinitely works better than the agency power intake , the agency power intakes require tuneing .

Are you saying the AEM intake does not require tuning? Also, where are you at in terms of the alleged 36HP 35TQ gains
